Petrillo Farm Blog
I haven’t made much art lately. Mo and I have recently moved back to my father’s house and have begun renovations with my brother Paul’s help. Yes Paul - he’s clean and sober for wow like almost 4 months now which is awesome and we have high hopes for him! So far we have re-done 3 rooms on the second floor and I am even writing a blog about it (well started one) you can check it out at petrillofarm.blogspot.com there will be pictures up soon I promise!
So this summer will be a busy one, with renovations, and vacations and farm and fun! Keep checking back for news about art and family fun!
Tomorrow after 7am I will have select paintings on view at Karma Road (www.karmaroad.net), the Vegetarian deli, bakery, juice and smoothie bar. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, March 13th, beginning at 6:30pm. The paintings will be up until the end of March. I need to give special Thanks to Papa and Yaya for watching Miss Mo while I hung paintings as well as Eric Borman for letting me borrow his truck to move the big painting!
Thanks and I hope to see you at the opening!
So I actually have been creating some art lately, check it out…

this is a work in progress…it is actually the piece that was sent to the Sketchbook Project show down in Atlanta, GA and the supreme moron that I am didn’t photograph the final piece!

this isn’t finished…I am hoping to complete it this weekend but we’ll see how that goes!

yesterday Miss Mo came to work with us! the day started off in the local hannaford doing our weekly shopping. she was quite the character with her Brooklyn tee shirt on from her aunt Jenni and her sunglasses

my little bad ass…
then after work we went to the farm - beans and cherry tomatoes were ripe for pickin - and she had fun even with the heat…

she looks like she belongs on a farm, no?
by 8pm last night the little one was wiped!
I have listed more things on Etsy in case any one feels the urge to go and purchase a cool new ring…hopefully by tomorrow night I will have some tee shirts on there as well. Mrs. Borman has so very happily volunteered to model for me and if any of you that live near by would also be willing to model - call! Variety of shapes and sizes are always welcome! I have to get my butt moving and make more shirts too. One more month to the Arts Fest! Today Mrs. Borman and I head to the Huguenot Street Farm to pick up our farm share - looking forward to it because the cupboard is getting a bit bare. I’ll post a photo on here after ward - I love that farm!
This weekend Miss Mo and I are heading to Brooklyn - Carroll Gardens West - our old stomping ground to visit the Schindlers which we are very excited about and then Mr. McFadden has invited us along to the Gadaleto’s Clambake. Which depends on when we get back upstate…so we shall see!
Tomorrow Friday afternoon I will be hitting Oasis in New Paltz (I think) for Happy Hour, if anyone is interested in hanging out - come on down!
