The Sketchbook Project

My dear friend Mrs. Hedley emailed me the other day regarding a new show/project called the The Sketchbook Project. You go to this website The Sketchbook Project and you sign up - they send you a sketch book you fill it with drawings about fear and then it goes in this show in Atlanta. There is more to it than that but you should check it out because it is for a good cause and any one can draw, paste, or write. And did I say it’s for a good cause - because it is - check it out!

Mo’s first birthday party invite!

Little Mo went to her first birthday party! I am such a new mom…yesterday we trekked to the Middletown Galleria for a Build-a-Bear party for Camryn Walsh - I forgot my camera but took a couple of photos with the phone. Camryn was as cute as ever and Mo had a good time running around - I think this was her first visit to a full fledged mall - there was a lot to look at! But what was particularly cute was her and Camryn’s younger sister, Amelia (Chris and Teresa I apologize if I spelled that wrong!) sharing grapes while everyone watched Camryn open her presents! I think that they made friends right then and there! It was awesome I had a good time seeing everyone and getting to hang with the Walsh clan again albeit brief and I hope to do it again soon!

Brooklyn!!

Miss Mo and I headed south to Brooklyn - Carroll Gardens West to be exact - to spend some time with the Walsh-Schindlers! It was great to see the “old neighborhood” and walk around for a while but it was even better seeing old friends. These are pictures of Mo and Aunt Jennie - next week I’ll put some more up of Mo running through the sprinklers at the park - she is fearless this kid!

Etsy and Stuff

I have listed more things on Etsy in case any one feels the urge to go and purchase a cool new ring…hopefully by tomorrow night I will have some tee shirts on there as well. Mrs. Borman has so very happily volunteered to model for me and if any of you that live near by would also be willing to model - call! Variety of shapes and sizes are always welcome! I have to get my butt moving and make more shirts too. One more month to the Arts Fest! Today Mrs. Borman and I head to the Huguenot Street Farm to pick up our farm share - looking forward to it because the cupboard is getting a bit bare. I’ll post a photo on here after ward - I love that farm!

This weekend Miss Mo and I are heading to Brooklyn - Carroll Gardens West - our old stomping ground to visit the Schindlers which we are very excited about and then Mr. McFadden has invited us along to the Gadaleto’s Clambake. Which depends on when we get back upstate…so we shall see!

Tomorrow Friday afternoon I will be hitting Oasis in New Paltz (I think) for Happy Hour, if anyone is interested in hanging out - come on down!

The Big Art Show in Poughkeepsie - review

It has been a while - time really flies when you have a lot going on! The Big Art Show was fun - I had a good time hanging with friends and seeing some new bands. The premise of the show is an awesome concept and the venue was pretty cool.
