One time at band camp, Kathleen mentioned that she needed a bio for her lovely new website. She had asked her niece Erin, an english major, to write her a fantastic little blurb. Unfortunately, Erin is too busy with work and watching the cutest little booger on the planet to write anything website-worthy. Some how in my crazy head, a biography formed. Things always look better in your head.
Once I started this little journey, I realized that I don't really know Kathleen's biography. I know her well, hell I spend 10 hours a day with her often but I don't know the details of her fun fill adventures we called life. I know she has some cats. They make me sneeze. She has a cute little baby and I want to squeeze her head off. She went to a college that starts with the letter "P" - maybe Plattsburgh and majored in art history I have to admit that was the major I had dreamed of but somehow ended with just History... but this is about Kathleen.). Then she went to New Paltz and majored in Painting and Drawing.
She worked for all sorts of freaky weird artsy fartsy dingleberries in the city of New York. The last job she had was about arts in schools and grants. Now she works at the Bardavon 1869 Opera House and the Ulster Performing Arts Center . She does tons and tons of all sorts of everything but the freaking places are freaking awesome to work for... (bad bad grammar).
She is an artist. She is a friend. She is, oh yeah, she has lots of tattoos. Don't touch them. Don't be a smelly hippy freak and stroke them.
Her plans for the future are to win the lottery and make art and make food and live in a tropical paradise in a house with elephant fountains.
